i hate it that my pathetic camera cannot capture how lovely this purse is. do you see the thread lining near the zipper? it's deep sky blue on this side, and a lovely deep pink on the other.
it is lovely as a little white purse which can contain all your chapalang cards. i also managed to stuff a qwerty phone in.
something plain, but colorful, and awesome. i'm not particularly good at embroidery, but i wanted to try it out! i had to make a trip to the hardware store though, just to get colorful thread (and black, can you believe it, i do not have black thread). i ended up getting stuck at GOLD, because i realise i didn't have yellow thread. how?i thought of replacing the word 'gold' with something else. purple? green? nah! nothing as fabulous as gold sounds! i was going to tear my hair out, but i tried the storeroom, and found thick gold string! took me another forever to etch the strings on and made sure they didn't go all stringy by burning the ends.
as intricate a detail as i can capture. damn sad, i need to borrow a better camera next time.
and of course, a YKK orange zipper! sewing the inner linings were TRICKY! it's one of the first few times i'm doing it, but i'm glad how it turned out!
an utterly sweet inner lining of nutcracker soldiers, cats and rabbits!

wow, it's so nice! hehe.. i like this more than the plastic one. the inner lining (with the orange zipper) just converted me into a fan of this purse. :P
but does this mean there's only one of this purse for sale? and no customisation? are there similar inner linings where you bought this one?

mup: hahha thanks! lol, yeah, i guess i can make customizations cos i still have materials left. but you do need to gimme dimensions and stuff i've another material that's a little like this one, but they're rabbits. haha.
icic, i think i'll still like the cats inner lining more. hahaha. hmm, actually the dimension is just about right leh. need to fit at least a $50 bill width wise and my handphone length wise. hehe.. i think i'll just get this one, if it's still available. mail me at brodover@gmail.com if u need to contact me. :)
